Gaming outside of SecondLife

First off blog number TEN :D

So since we moved services back to our OVH dedicated server we decided we should really start using the hardware, nginx and php barely uses the CPU and ram so the rest was a waste, thats why we tried digital ocean for abit there but that story is in the last blog.

Today we are proud to let you all know that we have already expanded to other games outside of SL.
First project is of course BloodWars Online, even though im still in the middle of the networking part of the game there SHOULD be a pre-alpha release soon, please join our discord if you like to try the pre-alpha when its ready.

Second project is a World of Warcraft private server. I KNOW I KNOW! As long as we dont profit from it or sell gold for real money we be fine.
The version of the game we running is 3.3.5a Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
Why?
Well for one that was the last version of the game i love before it went down hill in my opinion. TWO. The server is using Azerothcore and they only have coded their server code to support up to 3.3.5a.
Tons of fixes and improvements with AC compared to other server projects for the same game version. It also has alot of cool modules to use with it which modifies the game abit like Guild House on GM Island. Was really easy for me to build and install the server from its source code. I been playing on the server as a non-GM (a account with admin status that comes with tons of commands to manage the server and help players) and so far no serious issues. Just 1 issue that i fixed myself on my GM account. Any other issues i run into while leveling to 80 ill fix. SO anyways if you like to play please visit wow.gridplay.net or WoW in the games menu of the main site.
For now the wow site is a premade website while i work on a custom one. Oh also i been playing WoW since version 2 was released and private servers since patch 2.4.
Private servers are 100% free to play with option to buy custom stuff for real money and/or vote points by voting for that server on a gaming server listing website.
GridPlay will be offering stuff soon in the new site for points which you can obtain via voting or donating.

Third idea was shot down which was another attempt at making a Minecraft server. This idea was scrapped for afew reasons. One we already got our hands full with SL, BWO and now WoW. In my opinion minecraft just isnt the same as it use to be before the Microsoft buyout.

We will be looking into other games soon in the future but for now please enjoy what we currently offer :)

Thanks -ven
